Some wood type for the weekend

I stumbled across these truly gorgeous photos of chromatic wood type by John Christopher of Flowers and Fleurons, a small letterpress studio in Brighton, UK. They are taken from Day & Collins’ specimen catalogue 1889.  A little lens correction and brightening and voilà. Enjoy!
